As part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall on March 31, the fall-winter 2014/2015 collection of the famous fashion designer Julia Dalakyan was shown.

Collection Julia Dalakian Fall Winter 14/15 "Covert Story" is dedicated to the depth of knowledge of mankind, the wisdom of nature and the desire for harmony of the living and the eternal. "Covert Story" is a hidden (secret) story. This theme is emphasized by all 28 bows presented on the podium. Closed silhouettes of models created from dense fabrics appear before the public eye. Each image symbolizes a person’s desire to be a little more closed, but at the same time emphasize the depth of his feelings, which is intended not for everyone, but for his most beloved, important, dear. The accent permeated with trembling mystery was made in the collection with the help of two invariable tools of the designer: a mathematically verified design and a combination of textures and colors.
The sophisticated designs of everyday dresses, skirts, suits, overalls, coats and evening dresses look simple and functional. At the same time, the combination of different fabrics and dark colors looks unusual, but not loud. Wool and cloth in combination with duchess and silk organza, a jersey in the company of jacquard, velvet.
Great attention is paid to details - original lapels of jackets, geometric-shaped belts, accessories that accentuate attention, author's appliqué, woolen lace and silk fringe trim, massive jewelry.The smell element is used in dresses, blouses, skirts, overalls.
The main colors of the collection are black, anthracite, dark sapphire, green color of ficus leaves, aquamarine, complex pink-beige and gray-brown shades.
The image that the designer presented to the discerning public is a portrait of a medieval girl, made by a modern cubist.
