Shimmering in all colors of the rainbow, embroidered patterns of sequins, sequins and rockail on a silk pillow will draw everyone's attention to your sofa!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK Cut out of silk: for the front side of the pillowcase, a piece of 52 x 52 cm in size, for the back side of the pillowcase, one piece of 52 x 49 cm in size and one part of 52 x 5 cm in size, for the edging four stripes of 52 x 4 cm in size (allowances are already taken into account) .
Enlarge the motif pattern (top in the second photo A), transfer its contours several times to the front side of the pillowcase using a phantom pencil. Embroider the bends with a chain stitch (B), embroider the teeth with a velvet seam ©. Sew one piece of rocaille on top of each. Glue sparkles between paisley motifs. Then sew transparent sequins on the entire surface of the front side of the pillowcase, and, as shown in the figure, grab the rocaille (E).
Run the edging.Stitch in short sections four strips into one long part. Fold the finished part in half along the wrong side inwards. Insert a cord along the fold. Lay the stitch close to the cord. Stitch the finished edging on the front side of the pillowcase along its contour, while the open sections of the piping coincide with the slices of the front side of the pillowcase. At the corners of the allowances along the edges of the edging, cut close to the seam line. Pip along the next slice, stitch. The beginning and end of the piping overlap each other.
Stitch the parts of the back side of the pillowcase along one longitudinal slice, stitching on both sides to a length of 6.5 cm. Stitch the zipper along the open sections. Fold the front and back sides of the pillowcase, face to face, and grind along the contour. Remove the pillowcase, iron the edges.
According to the figure (D), sheathe the corners with thread for embroidery.
