Fashionable item for this season. She adorns pullovers and blouses, cardigans and skirts. From the same fabric or contrasting, from lace or dense taffeta - choose what suits you best.

SKIRT
The extravagant frill turns a plain black skirt into a fold from a fabric of contrasting color into a designer model.

WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED Skirt, cotton fabric 140-150 cm wide and 35 cm long, sewing thread, magic tailor's chalk.
HOW TO MAKE The width of the frill in the finished form = 16 cm. On the skirt, by tailor's chalk, draw a line for attaching the frill (the desired length of the skirt minus 26 cm). On this line measure the width of the skirt. Cut the skirt 1.5 cm below the drawn line.
On cotton fabric, grind ends with a length of 35 cm face to face (along the edges) = middle back seam. Iron allowances. Fold the fabric inside out and iron it, sweep open sections. Divide the upper edge into 8 identical parts along the length and put marks, while starting the marking from the seam. Mark the width of the frill. Subtract the skirt width from this value and divide it by 8. This will be the crease depth (double).
On the upper edge of the frill, mark the folds and sweep over the marks. Stitch the face-to-face trim to the bottom of the skirt (seam width 1.5 cm), with the frill pointing up.
Lay the rim down and iron.

PULLOVER
The wide-striped sports pullover is noteworthy due to its unusual contrast: a duchesse frill assembled on an elastic band.
WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED Pullover, duchesse 140-150 cm wide and 45 cm long (enough to size 46), elastic tape 2.5 cm wide, length = hip circumference minus 10 cm, sewing thread; scissors, tailor's chalk, centimeter tape, needles, pins, ruler.HOW TO MAKE On duchesses, iron long sections to iron the wrong side to a width of 1 cm. Short sections to grind face to face (along the edges). Iron allowances. Fold the inside out to the inside out half the width, iron. Stitch the ironed edges to the edge - the upper edge.

STEP 1 Stitch the elastic tape in the ring. Fold the ribbon and frill in half, mark the folds with pins.
STEP 2 Align the tags with pins on the frill and elastic tape.
STEP 3 Stitching, stretch the elastic tape slightly. Iron the elastic tape stitched to the frill with steam to tighten it even more.
