Photo: @joshbennettnyc
Josh grew up in Pennsylvania, his grandmother taught him to knit when the boy was 8 years old.Soon, however, he put down his knitting needles - after all, men do not knit - and became interested in singing and theater. Again, Josh started knitting in 2000 - working in the theater, once decided to tie at home instead of going to the next casting - and since then he has not stopped knitting. Now his hobby has become a job - but everything is in order.
Photo: @joshbennettnyc
In 2001, Josh moved to New York and worked at a yarn store. This store provided, among other things, samples of patterns and models for customers - and Bennett noticed that “male” patterns among them are clearly not enough. Josh decided to change this state of affairs and learned to create patterns and patterns himself.
Photo: @joshbennettnyc
Now he creates knitted clothes - preferably for men, knits himself and collaborates with a variety of fashion brands, for example, Tommy Hilfiger, GANT and Alexander Wang. In Josh's Instagram, there are many photographs of both the process and the finished products, most often he poses in his creations.

Fabio Costa

Sews female and male avant-garde clothing

Instagram: @notequal
Photo: @notequal
Costa was born in Brazil. From the age of 4, he was brought up by a grandmother - a seamstress, it was she, according to the designer, who lit the fire of passion for sewing and designing clothes in him. Already in his childhood, Fabio tried to create something unusual from fabric, studied the laws of drapery, "wrapping himself in sheets," like an ancient Greek.
Photo: @notequal
“I always had a desire to design clothes,” says Costa. He received an appropriate education in Brazil, moved to New York, where he continued to study and in 2012 began to create his own clothing line.
Photo: @notequal
Now Fabio Costa is positioning himself as a designer who "defies traditional tailoring." There are a lot of unexpected “twists” in his clothes, “individual work” - both designer and dressmaker — is visible above each detail. The result is a work of art that, moreover, remains clothing - although not quite ordinary.Photo: @notequal
