As a child, Christie loved needlework, but only that does not involve sewing on a typewriter. She could not imagine that after years her favorite work would be connected with this.

About the page author

Christie is engaged in patchwork, quilting and the creation of patterns and patterns for patchwork. According to her, in her youth, she could not imagine that she would devote herself to this activity once: “Today I love patchwork and quilting. But in high school I was afraid of sewing machines like a plague! It's even funny how life develops: Now my work is connected with them, in general, I was always quite creative: cross-stitch, crochet, quilling, drawing ... At the same time, I looked at the beautiful fabrics in the stores and thought: if only something could be made from them! When I was little, my mother sewed clothes, but then I was not interested. And when my youngest child was born in 2010, I decided that I needed a new hobby. And my mother surprised me with a gift, presenting a role knife and other accessories for patchwork - Plus - I lent me my sewing machine and gave me some sewing lessons. Then I studied already, thanks to the Internet ... And if you go back from that time to the future, then: I feel incredibly happy that this activity became my job - if this in general can be called work.I do creativity all day, every day. "
