A simple and charming hair accessory will complement any image of a young lady. Depending on the materials chosen, the bezel may be casual or festive. And making this bezel is very easy.

You will need:

- shreds of bright fabrics (cotton, linen, silk, velvet, jacquard);

- felt;

- narrow bezel for hair as a basis;

- glue for textiles;

- scissors;

- needle and thread for sewing;

- sewing machine

How to sew an elastic band for hair

Step 1

From yellow cotton, cut out two parts of the rim in the form of an eight equal in length to the size of the base. Cut allowances - 1 cm.

From the felt, cut out exactly the same part, but without allowances.

Also, cut out a piece of jumper from yellow cotton. Determine the size of this part yourself, it can be wide or narrow.

Then fold the base parts with the front sides, chop and grind, leaving a small area for turning out open.

Run the jumper - fold the part in half and grind along a long slice.

Step 2

Turn out the main part of the rim through the open hole.

Turn out a detail of a jumper.

Iron the parts.

Then glue the felt part to the base using textile glue.

Step 3

Through the open area, insert a thin bezel and sew the hole manually with a blind stitch.

Jumper the rim exactly in the middle. Hide the open section of the jumper inside the part and sew it by hand with a hidden stitch.

Tip: instead of fabric, you can use faux fur, natural suede, and decorate the jumper with beautiful beads or a brooch.
